What, why, where did we do? We wanted to turn the awareness campaign, which we gave start in August, into action in November 20th for the Universal Children’s Day by making people join it. We tried to mention such a serious issue in a funny way. We called everyone to be a child once again on social media by putting their childhood photos into their profile pictures, uploading their photos with their toys, and sharing their feelings about being a child. We made an outdoor campaign (trams, racket boards in college campuses, billboards) and press releases that we declared stunning datas about child labor, through kid games. We brought all the social media campaigns, activities of November 20th and the petition together on a microsite. Also to encourage attendance, we organized competitions, in which the t-shirts and badges of successful illustrators were given away, on social media. Setting up a booth in Kadıköy and Beşiktaş neighborhoods, first we called everyone on streets to play with us in the morning of November 20th. And then signatures were collected for every child’s right to play.
